 Farming Families Fun Night

The CWA and VFF are combining forces to have a farming family fun night in Nhill commencing at the Nhill Bowling Club with a BBQ tea.
Children’s activities will be at the Bowling Club, Men’s activities / meeting etc will be at the CFA and Women’s events / activities will be at the SES but they really need someone to assist with children’s activities.

Final instalment to the beloved Shrek, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third. A domesticated Shrek is bored with his life and so makes a pact with the sly Rumpelstiltskin to make him feel more like a real ogre again. However, Rump tricks Shrek and he ends up in an alternate reality, where Rump is King and Shrek and Fiona have never met! Shrek must overcome Rump and restore the real world to reclaim his true love - but can he do it?

A Special Sunday movie matinee- one the whole family can enjoy. This third instalment comes 11 years after Toy Story 2, but does not disappoint. It is time for Andy to go to college, and due to some confusion, the toys think it is time to move on. Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the gang end up at a children's nursery, where it is all seemingly fun and games. However, things soon turn sour and the toys must work together in order to survive. Great new characters combine with the loved old ones to create a truly great movie for all ages.

 RSPCA Cupcake Day  
Monday, 16 August 2010 Cupcake Day for the RSPCA is the biggest bakeoff in the Southern Hemisphere and involves Cupcake Cooks around Australia baking cupcakes and hosting a Cupcake Party to raise vital funds for the RSPCA. Last year Cupcake Cooks around Australia joined forces to bake thousands of scrumptious cupcakes to help support the services of the RSPCA.
This year’s Cupcake Day for the RSPCA is being held on Monday 16 August 2010. If you can’t be involved on this date, you can still hold your Cupcake Day Party at anytime during the month of August 2010!

A surprisingly worthwhile re-imagining of the 1984 smash hit "The Karate Kid". A new job forces a single mum and her son Dre to move to Beijing, where Dre soon falls for a girl in his class. However, his feelings cause a stir with the class bully, who, along with a number of young students, is tutored by a psychotic kung fu master. In order to defend himself, Dre undertakes training from the school janitor, who is also a kung fu master (Jackie Chan). Warning: some violent scenes.
